About Us

We want to be a great local cafe restaurant, doing the simple things well.  We have been in Hackney for years, so we know where the best brewers are and where the best coffee is roasted.

Five years ago we took the Sebright Arms just behind Hackney road from a boarded up pub awaiting demolition to a thriving hub of live music and craft beer, so The Vincent has our top 40 favourite beers and ciders, on draught and in bottle.

Come in for weekend brunch on our sunny terrace or a burger in the evening.  Not going out?  Our full menu is also available to take away.


Our Food

Our burger uses British beef that has been dry aged for at least 21 days. 


Our pork comes from Dingley Dell, because when we visited the farm we were impressed with the effort they made to give the pigs a stress free life as well as caring for the wildlife on the land.

We use lots of grains: cancha corn from the Andes to give a nutty crunch, red and brown rice for flavour, red, black and white quinoa, toasted linseeds (all gluten free) and smokey warm freekah.

We always make sure there are vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu and where possible we have gluten free options, including our meatballs.

Our Drinks

Our coffee is roasted in Hackney Wick by The Roasting Shed (Neil drops it off on his way home).  We stock, soy, almond, and oat milk.

Tea is by Joe's Teas (Hackney) with loose leaf teas available in a variety of flavours.

We make some great cocktails using ingredients such as homemade passion fruit syrup and fresh peach puree for our Bellinis.

For beer and cider lovers there are over 40 on draught and in bottles bringing the best from London Brewers as well as some of our  international favourites. We stock everything from Pale to Stout hitting Sour and Amber beers along the way.
